We kicked off our La Ciudad workshop by welcoming new friends and learning Spanish words for common places around our community—school, park, supermarket, store, post office, dentist, and more!
Next came an exciting round of bingo with prizes, of course! Each turn gave us another chance to review vocabulary while cheering for each other.
After bingo, we built our very own mini cities. Many of us carefully planned the design and layout, placing schools, supermarkets, and fire stations with creativity and detail. Who knows—there may be some future urban planners in the making!
