Maria’s language journey began as a child when she learned English through immersion. Her love for languages deepened in high school, inspiring her to spend her university years preparing to teach foreign languages.
After graduating, Maria spent over five years as the Assistant Director at a total immersion school in the North Shore of Chicago, where she helped develop French and Spanish immersion programs. As a mother of three bilingual children, she understands firsthand the power of language and loves finding creative ways to engage young minds through play and fun activities.
Maria’s mission at LingoStars is to inspire children to explore the world through language, making learning an exciting and joyful journey.

Wendy S.

Wendy Sanchez is a passionate Spanish instructor who believes that learning through play is the best way for children to learn. She loves watching her students have fun while gaining new knowledge and sharing her culture along the way.
Her passion for teaching began early when she volunteered as a tutor for children aged 8 to 10 while she was still in school. This experience sparked her love for working with kids.
In her free time, Wendy enjoys reading, dancing, and relaxing at the beach.

Adriana H.

Adriana brings a unique blend of creativity and experience to her work as a Spanish instructor. As a mother, actress, writer, and educator, she has spent over 10 years working closely with children, creating stories that spark their imagination and connect with their emotions.
She graduated from La Casa del Teatro Nacional de Colombia and starred in the beloved children’s series Chincanarama. Adriana also wrote the children’s play Drácula, el último vampiro, which enjoyed a successful two-year run at the Teatro Nacional de Colombia.
Her teaching approach combines writing, improvisation, and theater games to inspire creativity, focus, and teamwork in her students. Adriana’s mission is simple: to inspire, educate, and entertain young minds through engaging and dynamic learning experiences.

Paula was born in Colombia and moved to the United States as a child, giving her a deep appreciation for both cultures. She is currently a senior at Gulf Coast High School and is excited to begin her college journey this fall.
Paula’s warmth and enthusiasm make her a natural at connecting with children and creating a fun, engaging learning environment.
