What We Learned
Today’s class was a lively Día de los Muertos & Halloween celebration!
We started by learning new Spanish words like calavera (skull), gato (cat), bruja (witch), and fantasma (ghost) — plus some fun body parts like manos (hands), pies (feet), and cabeza (head).
Then we explored the art of alebrijes — colorful, imaginative creatures that mix different animals — and made our own bright versions of cats, dogs, and birds.
We wrapped up with games like “Pin that Bone on the Skeleton” and a fast-paced body-part challenge that had everyone jumping, clapping, and laughing en español!
